Biolink Ustar EasyNAT® For Animal Care
Next-generation animal diagnostics
Localised lab-work for veterinary practices
Featuring three-stage magnetic conductivity extraction technology and Cross Priming Amplification Technology (CPA). The Ustar system is effective for in-vitro diagnosis of pathogen nucleic acid sequences in Humans and animals.

Easy to use
With the Ustar EasyNAT® system you can test for multiple diseases at the same time. With minimal equipment and a small foot print you can increase functionality at your practice without sacrificing space, and with smart, pre-mixed reagents, there is minimal sample preparation – leading to accurate results in between 30 and 65 minutes.
Broad range testing
With a wide selection of tests covering diseases in pets, livestock or equine; Ustar EasyNAT® is an invaluable tool in identifying animal health issues for effective treatment and management. Available in 4, 8 and 16 module machines, the Ustar system is suited to a variety of use cases including: hospitals and clinics, centres for disease control, quarantine facilities, mobile testing units, veterinary services, and third-party testing sites.

Accurate and reliable
Featuring a limit of detection (LoD) of 1000 copies per test, the Ustar EasyNAT® features high sensitivity coupled with high specificity, all operated with a single button. The patented cartridge design features closed testing, to eliminate the potential for cross contamination – and with automatic integration of nucleic acid extraction, amplification and detection, it’s ideally suited for point of care testing.

Test instructions
Before testing, read this IFU carefully and bring the assay and samples back to room temperature.

STEP 1: 1. Sample loading
• Vibrate the Bb-Nucleic Acid Extraction Solution to fully mix it (until there is no large agglomerate and the magnetic beads are uniformly scattered in the tube), and then transfer the solution into Bb-Cartridge.
• Take 0.5mL supernatant from sample preservation tube, and add into the cartridge, and then close cartridge cap.

STEP 2: Start Test
• Put the QR code of the cartridge (located on the cartridge cap) in the scanning area of applicable instrument that will automatically input cartridge information (Please refer to the Operator Manual of applicable instrument);
• Scan the sample barcode (If available), and instrument will input sample information automatically. It is also viable to input the information manually;c)Insert the cartridge into the module of the instrument, close module cover, and then click “START”.

STEP 3: 3. View the result
• At the end of test, results will be displayed on the applicable instrument automatically.
•
Please refer to the interpretation of results on the IFU for details.
